Welcome to Wit's End. Our sign is made of found objects from around the farm. The i is dotted with the wheel from Carol's childhood doll carriage

Some of our guests have used our canoe on Doe Lake. For the more adventurous, local outfitters will rent you all the required equipment.
Our backyard gazebo is a cool and quiet place to sit and relax after a busy day of sightseeing in the area. You may be fortunate enough to see some of the many birds and animals that call this home. .There are many biking trails in the Muskoka area. Bring your own gear or rent it locally.
Each year a pair of ruby-throated hummingbirds returns to build a home and raise a family. We think we have seen up to seven at one time, but it is very difficult to count hummingbirds!
On June 20, 2002 a female ruby-throated hummingbird flew through an open door into the sunroom. She panicked, then landed on the window ledge. She let Mike pick her up to carry her outside.

She took several minutes to regain her composure...

and off she went again.

Gravenhurst's Farmers' Market was voted "Ontario's Best Seasonal Farmers' Market".

.

Who could resist a bouquet of delphiniums right from the hands of the grower? There is plenty for the kids to do at the market, too. Today a clown painted faces. There is a petting zoo and pony rides.
We enjoy growing a variety of annuals and perennials. You are welcome to take the garden tour. Clematis is one of our "perennial" favourites. We add at least one new variety each year.
